I know it is still early in the season but some of you have returned recently, it would be good to have some feedback particularly from new visitors to Halki, good or bad we would like to hear it ;D Thanks  |

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D WE LOVE IT!!!!!Sorry for the delay in reporting back...got withdrawal symptoms! ;)Seriously though,we cannot believe that such a wonderful place exists...no kidding!  We have holidayed in many places over the years,but never experienced anywhere like Halki...total bliss! We have never felt so relaxed...total peace and tranquility. Good for the soul!  You lucky people have been enjoying this for years and we hope that this will be the first of many happy holidays there for us too. I think we have found what we've been looking for  We sooooo want to go back! Will be back with more later |

The mankini? You don't want to know!!1 ;D ;D ;D We went to halki and it surpassed all our expectations.We thought it sounded like our kind of place,but i really can't put into words how much we loved it.It is truly magical.We went there to chill-out...and that's exactly what we did...big-timw! ;D Our favourite restaurant was deffo the grill.The food was consistently good and the staff were lovely. Our villa was lovely too.We went walking,but love to lie in the sun,so did a lot of that. What i love about being on holiday is that time just doesn't matter.We eat when we're hungry and drink when we're dry...and sometimes when we aren't! ;DOops,no room left! :-[Found the expand button  The place is just so peaceful.One day,i looked down towards the harbour and said to my hubby, "look at that"...there was absolutely nobody to be seen anywhere.Unbelievable! We noticed the "gold van" outside the shop .I just hope it doesn't mean the start of the place changing into a touristy resort.It would be such a shame for that to happen.  That's another thing that we liked,there were no lines of shops selling tacky stuff,which seems to be the norm elsewhere. We are well and truly smitten by halki I'll come back when i remember more,but,oh,i miss it so much.  |

Hi all Absolutely nothing bad to say about halki We took loads of photos and would like to post some...but haven't got a clue how to do it Any advice would be much appreciated. God! I miss halki! I'm even dreaming about it! Forgot to say...when we arrived,we were so enthralled looking at it from the ferry,we decided to ask a lady to take our photo.Just as well...as she said"aren't you getting off here?" We had to run like hell down the stairs! Phew! ;D Also,when we got off and were walking just up to the side of the grill.i felt the tears coming to my eyes...i just knew it was going to be special Yes...they were filling up again when it was time to go home WE LOVE IT !!! |

Hi Sunfun, sounds like you are hooked like the rest of us, believe me the tears and the longing to go back dont get any better no matter how many times you go there If you go to the section photo board and then to " help " Liz and Graeme have tried to explain what to do, give it a go and if you get stuck shout loudly and someone will try to help you, good luck, we are all desperate to see some new photos ;D |
