I booked a Ryanair flight to get back on the 8th of May. This is the breakdown of costs: £32.74 Total Fare......................................(1) £00.00 Taxes, Fees & Charges.....................(2) £02.00 Passenger Fee: EU 261 Levy.............(3) £00.25 Passenger Fee: ETS........................(4) £06:00 Passenger Fee: Web Check-in...........(5) £05.00 Passenger Fee: Priority Boarding........(6) £06.00 Passenger Fee: Administration Fee.....(7) £06.90 Insurance......................................(8) £58.89 Total Paid......................................(9)
I comment thus: (1) "Total fare", I don't think so! (2,3,4,5.7) should surely be included in (1) They are part of the fare since they are unavoidable? (6) Well worth it in my opinion. NB no hold luggage either! (8) another optional extra
(9) All things considered ridiculously cheap, despite the suffering to my dodgy back.

I think when you check in online for an extra tenner you can pre book your seat . we didn't prebook on a recent trip to Spain and were allowed to sit in the extra legroom seats on the way out as the flight was fairly full ..on the back it was half empty ..so no such luck !..might be worth it if you suffer with your back

I watched it and then flew to Dublin and back with them a few days later. Only one Irish accent amongst the staff unfortunately though all were very pleasant and helpful. All in all we could not fault them. It was still much cheaper to fly from Bristol with Ryanair, drive an hour and a half, nights b&b and parking than it was to fly from Exeter with Flybe. Bummer really as Exeter is only 20 mins up the road!

Lisa, between 2006 and 2011 I used Ryanair fairly frequently for work reasons between Bristol and Dublin - a choice of 3 or 4 flights a day and I have to say they were almost always on time. So trying them from Bournemouth to Rhodes on 25th September is with hope as well as some trepidation! I've never used Bournemouth airport before, so this is a bit experimental. From your part of the country it might be better than Gatwick? (Although a disadvantage is limited frequency, only weekly flights - but the charters from Bristol this year are even worse, with inconvenient times.)

Message for Simon - Sheila Robinson ( nee Lucas) is trying to find information on the route Stansted to Rhodes on Facebook. I have suggested she puts the query on this forum.

We flew Ryanair to Rhodes this time and to be honest we didn't have a problem .. we booked extra legroom seats so had a seat number when we got on so no need to Q ! It was fine ..apart from the constant wanting to sell something.. but the flights were near enough on time the staff were pleasant .. we had hand luggage only which was a doddle ...it was all good .. I'd use them again
