Cunning Plan A, to have Miss Daisy’s thingies grabbed at Gatwick is compromised; I take full responsibility and apologize unreservedly.  Miss Daisy’s promise to dump her thingies sounds like – ‘methinks the Lady doth protest too much’. Even as we speak there are probably plain brown packages winging their way to Halki; Miss Daisy is going to secrete her thingies at strategic places around the island.  We have no choice but to go for the Cunning Plan B – the Nuclear Option. We will have to form a group, ‘Grabbers of Miss Daisy’s thingies’ perhaps, and take it in turns to listen out for LC music. Every time the sound is heard the duty monitor will rush forward and ruffle Miss Daisy’s hair! Cruel but do we have another choice? I recommend the suggestion to the house! ;D |
