Liz, I expected more from you. To do a runner in our hour of need . . . . .  Is not one of the themes for one of the on-board parties a LC Appreciation Night? ;D ;D I would not normally wish LC on my worst enemy but the penalty for desertion in the face of Miss Daisy and LC knows no bounds.  |

Liz, your wish is my command.  Not only will I keep a weather eye out but there will be a large G&T ready – for the shock.  Never mind what the medicos say (warm sweet tea), a large G&T is much, much better. ;D |

This is a shame. I've been away from this board (or the Halki Visitor) for a few years and there is all this anti LC sentiment. I'm a fan, could you just try to get used to me if I'm sticking around.
I quoted him at a funeral recently, although I did get accused of being too sombre for the occasion.

Don't worry Johnr, there are still some of him that think he's "brill" ;D ;D (we went to see him on Tuesday - if you put Leonard Cohen Liverpool in you tube there's some good clips). Take no notice of Enforcer and Bobandjoan as I think they are secret admirers (honest). Incidentally, a friend of mine bumped into him in an olive grove on Hydra in about 1977 - he said he was dead nice  |

When we stay at Villa Fiona in 2010 I will be organizing a LC night where by all fans can watch DVD's and listen to various CD's I will take names on a first come first serve basis. ;D ;D
