Glad to know I'm not alone in liking Lenny. There is no arguing with taste; I could say a lot of good things about him, and the same things would also apply to Bob Dylan, whom I don't particularly like. I just ask that you watch and listen to; www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2T274bXIxUIf you don't like it, you have only wasted six and a half minutes and I will cease to try to persuade you. But I hope that you will be as blown away as I am.

This is a great example of a thread going completely haywire and getting lost

Johnr, I listened to that track although I have heard it several times before. Despite my winding up of all and sundry, I must confess to a liking for many of LC's tracks. This one you have posted is excellent and indeed, I think that if a few doubters DO take the time to listen to it, some might agree that it would indeed make a great backdrop sound to a lazy ouzo at Ftengia. I for one would be delighted to hear it there. Now I shall sit back and wait to be torn apart

:)Ah Sth...are we both converts? Hadn't lheard much of his stuff, but i think this one's really good, great sax as well. I love the song hallelujah that he wrote, but it is mournful when he sings it,but jeff buckley is really good at it

Sth, it's a great example of a thread going haywire and ending up somewhere unexpected; not the same as lost!

Those girls in admin will probably be so reluctant to give Cohen a thread of his own

Finally getting the recognition he deserves! For those that know me know that LC is exactly the sort of music I listen to yet don't brag about for fear of ridicule and chastisement. Glad to know there are me the any who appreciate the melancholy the perspires from LC. Ftenagia may never be the same again. Wish I could be back there!
