Hi Has anyone stayed here. I saw them on Zifos website, and was wondering what they were like. I quite like the look of them for next May/June (if they're not already booked)

I'm absolutely sure this is the old Direct Greece Villa Hiona - I stayed on the ground floor studio about 4 years ago. It's pretty nice inside, living area is large and bright, bedroom and bathroom a bit dark and dingy. Great for swimming - my two kids absolutely loved it. The only thing I'd say was that on the lower floor studio, there was a very strong smell of damp (at the time). Don't know whether this has been sorted out, or if it affects the 1st floor villa.

If it's the DG Hiona we stayed upstairs it was then a fairly basic 1 bed appartment ( slept 4 ) and had the biggest terrace in the world ! I think it's been split up since It's in a brilliant position the only downside being that all the appartments share the lower terrace so you have to be quick to bagsy it !

We stayed there too back around 2003 and yes Stuart it smelt of damp then too and I agree about the bedroom and bathroom
However the view from the little jetty thingy that belonged to the first apartment lower floor was wonderful and very handy for the tavernas and shops

I Know, couldn't resist it. I always said I wanted to stay in one of the ones on the front, so when the chance comes, you've got to take it

Dunno , personally, I don't give a toss whose boat I go on - I'm more concerned about getting a flight (where I don't have to sell a vital organ to pay for it) that gets us there in time for any boat
