ourselves, For what its worth, when I worked on Halki, which was a long time ago (but I think things will probably not have changed too much.)I used to go to Rhodes for a few days every so often,It was always a shock how much more expensive the food and drinks were (especially the drinks!)At that time, in Halki, the drinks were just poured into glasses, no measures, just filled! In Rhodes everything was measured, was tiny by comparison, and cost double!I spent many evenings at Nicks bar, which was to the left of Costas, if facing the bars, away from the sea. On occasions, if he was tired if the night went on very late, he would just leave the bar open ,tell us to help ourselves, keep a mental note ourselves and let him know how much we each owed him the next day! By then, of course memories were hazy, but we erred on the side of overstating rather than understating consumption! So in answer to your question, yes, it will be bad all over Europe but i would think Halki will be less painful than most islands. Have a great time!

You will never be short changed on a drink measure in Halki. As for an actual measure, you must be joking. ;D

The only time you get less than here is if you order draught beer as it usually ends up with a head on it of anything between 1" and about 3 inches For some reason, the greeks don't see this as a problem
