Elena studios?

Hi everyone Iv very much enjoyed ready everyone's experiences on halki:-) I sooo want to visit but there is just one studio allowing one person to stay left and there is no info on it. When advertised it stades it's in emborio, halki but I can find nothing and on google maps it comes up on Rhodes? I don't mind so much what the accommodation is like but would like to know it is indeed on halki and how close it is to the beautiful port and to pandamos beach.
I would be so greatful for a response and as fast as possible as there is only one space left:-(

Quite new. On the harbour. Near to everything. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulty. Go for it. What is putting you off? Embroil is the name of the port on Halki.

Hi Tams, go for it, it looks like it has quite a good view of the harbour and you will only be a couple of minutes from the tavernas and about 15 minutes from the two main beaches

Hi thank you so much for your responses:-) I was just put off by the lack of info and I wanted to know I was in fast walking distance for my morning swim at the harbour and it sounds like I will be.:-) I'm going to try and book it in the morning. Hopefully it will still be there. So how did you manage to find out where it is? I couldn't find any info at all and the travel agencies don't have any either. I plan on arriving on the 16/17th of July:-) I won't be able to sleep now lol. Thanks again and I will let you know if I manage to get it.

Tams it is on the Olympic holidays website, there are a few photos one of which shows the view from the apartment, it looks very near the harbour, no probs with going for an early swim from there, Halki is very small and a lot of us have been going there for years so we do know where quite a lot of the properties are situated, let us know how you get on.

Tams - done a quick scan through my Halki images. The brochure images aren't very sharp but, based on the balcony metalwork design, I think the left hand unit with the dark brown shutters and no sun shades is Elena studio. There is a public path to the water's edge immediately down the slope, to the right of a large 2 story derelict building known as the Old Court House. Reckon it's a tardy 2 minutes door to water!

To clear up loose ends. Carol I was asking Tams but now I have her answer, I know I won't be around. You are I believe September as usual, so you may find me skulking around behind a book with a glass of ouzo. Tams, Steve is correct and I hope you got it. Enjoy.

I'm very sad as it was gone this morning when I tried to book:-( I'm going to wait and see if I can get a cancellation though as I have my heart set on halki now. Thank you everyone for your help and pics:-) will update you if I manage to book something

Well done, I knew you would get something if you persevered, we used to stay just a bit along from Dorothea, it is convenient for the harbour and roughly mid way between Ftenagia and Pondamos beach and not too much of a climb up the hill !!!
