This will only apply to people traveling with Olympic Holidays. Their transfer arrangements are fine, up to a point. On the way home the take you to some apartments to pass a few hours before going to the airport. DON'T STAY THERE! it will not be a happy way to end a wonderful holiday. The most printable description I've heard is 'hell hole'. Remember you are a free agent, leave your bags and head for the sea. OK, not my kind of beach (although people learning to windsurf can be quite entertaining) but you can get a decent frappe, find a pleasant taverna and generally make the most of your last few hours in Greece.

Both last year & this, we were left at the Kassandra in Trinda and very nice it was too. Obviously you do not get given a room, but you can use the pool, have a shower, or sit & relax inside or out, if you do not want to go to the beach, Trinda or Rhodes Town. You must have been unlucky, unless they have changed the venue.

It was the same place but obviously your experience was better than ours. It was the second time that we'd been taken there and we felt the dame on both occasions. It could well depend on the time of year. The first impression was just noise - the second was 'do they clean this place?'. But it's a whole lot better than spending the time at the airport and we have found a very pleasant place to sit and have a frappe at the beach. There is also a very pretty taverna which serves a good omelette and Greek salad. On the whole it's a positive experience.

Hi you should be fine at that time for the transfer .. I think Cathy has answered your queries on the FB page The only thing I would add is that if you choose the water taxi option be aware that on a scheduled run he was about 12 euros last year on a private booked run he is a lot more ! There is a big discussion on it on here somewhere but it's well over the 100 euros.. I can't remember the exact figure But if you land at 3.15 you should be able to get a ferry about 5.30 ish
I think the private transfer was 235e

Lol definatley ! .. I know Olympic get bad press at times and although I've never travelled to Halki with them we've been to Crete and Kefalonia with them a few times in the last few years and I can't fault them ! Flights are on time , transfers are ok .. You'll be fine and I'm sure you'll love it

We've always found the transfer arrangements with Olympic very good and never had a problem. I love the ride down to Skala Kamiros and the chance to stretch your legs on the ferry after being crammed into a plane makes an excellent start to what will be a brilliant holiday. Have fun!

I don't think a rep goes over with you ..I'm pretty sure you are met off the ferry and shown to your accommodation, no where is too far and you should be ensconced in 10-15 minutes

Zefos travel, act as Agents for Olympic and ensure that you are escorted to your accommodation usually by Jane or Sheila, if there are any problems/issues with your accommodation they are there to sort it out for you and keep you updated on your transfer back home.
