carol, the more I think about it it was a great holiday. Everyone that we met was really nice to us (we were given a bag full of pomegranates by a lovely Greek lady, called Martha, who insisted on making us a cup of coffee as well). Truly beautiful people ;D

did you go independant or with a package ?? Hi Liz, we went independently and everything went really smoothly If anyone is interested, I can recommend where we stayed www.theiconpainter.com/index.htmlThere are 4 studios in the town, and (I think) 4 villas out of the town. The owner even picked us up and delivered us back to the airport. ;D

Liz, the villas looked lovely (we stopped by on the way back to the airport). They're a bit out of the way, so you'd probably need a car but they're in a gorgeous setting There's also a small village with taverna's etc about 10 mins walk from them.
