I think you'd love it. You fly to Kalamata, so you'd need to check out the flights, however you can also fly to Athens and get a bus (or rent a car from there) but I think it's about a 3 hour drive. Where are you staying in May?

it's only about 45 mins from Kalamata, and you can either pick up a taxi, or again, I think there's a bus. The owner of our apartments offered to pick us up at the airport for a small charge, and dropped us off again which was great ;D ;D

Kathy, it was however it would have been nice to see it in baking hot heat (for more than a couple of hours). Unfortunately with the weather we had it bore a striking resemblance to a slightly surreal Tobermory

::)I can relate to that Di.Our corfu trip would have been great if we'd got the good weather.There were so may walks and places to see,but not in the pouring rain.
