Thanks very much Maria, sounds as worth it is worth having a go for the bus if it only takes half an hour to get to KS. If we miss the bus we should still have plenty of time to get a taxi.

Dear, if you are on the alert around quater to 2.00 pm, ask every passing busdriver for Kamiros Scala, you will not miss it. The ferry is waiting for the bus. maria

Our plane isn't due to land until 13.05 so it could be a bit tight depending how long it takes to get the luggage, but it's worth a go. I'd rather spend the extra 30E on Halki than on an overpriced taxi.

Thanks very much for the information about the bus Maria, we caught it very easily on the 12th. If you come out of the airport, turn right and walk across towards the church, go up the steps and about 50 yards past the kiosk is a road sign with 500M to the nearest petrol station, which is where the buses stop. We flagged down 3 buses from 1.45 onwards and the third one which was about 2.10pm was the right one. We were only charged 8 Euros for two of us (I suggested maybe Tony was looking very old, and got an OAP rate? which he wasn't pleased about given he had his 50th birthday while we were in Halki).
As a thank you for all the money you saved us Maria, we put 15 Euros in the animal's collection tin at Zifos.
It was really easy catching the bus and we'll certainly do it again in future.
Maria (the other one)

Just found out that EJ Gatwick flight is now scheduled to arrive at 1330 tomorrow. Does anyone happen to know if the bus is running - as we only have hand luggage it might just be possible to catch it

An interloper here, I'm going to Tilos but the ferry must be the same one. My ferry schedule has the boat at 11.45, but people seem to be suggesting the bus from Rhodes will get to it? Any helpful info gratefully received.

HI .. I think you need the blue star ferry from Rhodes town to get to Tilos .. or the Dodek seaways .. I'm not sure if either of them call at KS ..
