Have returned from Rome today and flew Liverpool-Ciampino with Ryan air - have to say they were great -On time flights ,pleasant staff and the priority boarding was worth the extra -especially as we were late for the return flight and were able to skip to the front of the queue and still get decent seats ;D

We did thanks , it was a lovely break - my feet are killin with all the walking. But couldn't fault Ryan air , they had a plane that flew us from A to B on time for the price of a decent meal out .

This is a report on my first flight with Ryanair. I respect sth’s opinon, but I had to see for myself. As mentioned elsewhere the motivation was: 1) A direct flight; Stanstead to Diagoras. 2) A short coach ride from Norwich. 3) For sure a low price, but this only won me over from an indirect flight of Norwich to Schiphol to Diagoras. Does the low headline fare attract a large number of the “numpty” end of the market? If so then Ryanair is not for them. You need to be able to read, understand, and use the internet.
I needed to have hold luggage (Sharps) and packed a quantity of things which, by virtue of weighing the case, came in under the 20Kg. I had already bought a standard hand luggage bag on wheels 55 X 40 X 20. Again, by weighing I came in under the 10Kg. I use a spring balance from a fishing tackle shop which I have had for some time! I checked in online. Having done that, everything was straightforward. I cannot believe what I saw at the gate with people with overweight, and multiple bag hand luggage getting in a muddle. What is so difficult?
Problems: the cramped seats did my dodgy back no favours at all. For me this was a major disadvantage, and might lead me to make different arrangements next time. An idiosyncratic problem, but there others out there similarly afflicted, be warned. The timing also encouraged me to sleep on the flight and that did not help.

Just wait until they remove the seats and install hanging straps

our Ryan Air flight from Hahn (Germany) to Rhodes on May 19th - 26th was absolutely ok, on-time and friendly staff. Nothing to complain. And we were lucky to pay only 9,99 Euro incl. 10 kg handbag+ 15 Euro for the extra baggage. So we had more money to spent it in Halki. Maria
