am just a 'guest' here, but I also heard from airflights. My flights in August are now changed from Monarch to Strategic. Airflights have said Olympic are not offering refunds, but if enough people complain we may get compensation ..... And I have asked the question - depending on how many people this affects, Nissia have said it might be a taxi to Kamiros.

Hello 'H' and welcome ..where would this compensation come from ? if Olympic wont refund ?
You also mention Nissia, you have me confused ( easily done I know ) are you travelling with these as well ? I'm sure that low numbers travelling is something Nissia have encountered from time to time and taxi transfer is more economic than chartering a great big bus -I'm sure that they would try to double people up in taxis if that were the case

sorry to confuse!
I have booked flights through 'airflights' as a booking platform. The best price at the time was for the monarch flights which were used by Olympic. The airflights chap said Olympic wont refund, they are just having to transfer people on the closest flight that are now being used by Olympic (Strategic for me!). But if enough people complain they 'might' give us some compensation (but I dont think he held out much hope) for inconvenience to travelling - ie missed ferries.
and Nissia is for the accomodation.
I dont mind how I get to kamiros really as long as there is time for a pre Halki drink!

Thanks for the clarification H As far as I'm aware Olympics flights have always been a bit hit and miss with regard to catching the ferry -so depending on what time your flight is should give you an idea of whether you'll make it or not , I think Nissia time their bus to make the 5.30 ferry - so its all down to the flight as to how many pre Halki drinks you can fit in
