Depressed looking out at the rain and waiting for snow so have just booked Roulla Studio for September. Can anyone tell me whereabouts it is and does it have any outlook?

Are they the ones with Olympic ? If it's the ones I'm thinking of then they are on the right hand side ( looking in from the sea ) about 4 rows up around where the old DG hiona is

I put 3 originally but then thought they must be a bit higher I would have thought the top ones have good views and access to the sea is easy between the Hiona and the Amalia . I like that side of the harbour

They're fine and have a loyal following. Small - but beautifully formed! Bit like Kinygos ;D ;D ;D

We stayed in one of the Roulla studios three years ago with olympic. They are about 3 rows up and there is a lovely outlook from the terrace which is shared (a single storey row comprising 3 small studios). We had the one at the far end which was very poky and has a traditional sleeping platform - the other 2 seemed more roomy. Very basic but you really don't need much.

Thanks everyone for your help, we now have an idea where we are going. Roll on summer for the central heating has broken down and the plumber has gone AWOL.
