I thought that I should share this good news.
Chris and I received a letter this morning which said that we would soon get a full refund in respect the collapse of Goldtrail. We had laid out the full fares through Goldtrail to fly with Monarch. Goldtrail then switched us to Viking and then went bust.

Goldtrail went down in mid-July, leaving us with about 12 days to re-book. We flew out with TC on the last Wed of July. For 2011 we will book directly with Jet2. Several of our contacts are VERY pleased with Jet2.

Right , it seemed so much longer than that somehow . It's fortunate that you were able to book other flights at such short notice . Alot of people have said good things about Jet 2  Straying ever so slightly .. I can not understand peeps who moan about budget airlines ( I don't mean if your stranded or delayed etc ) my friend was moanin the other day about Ryan Air cos she didn't like the colours !!!!! For £20 quid or whatever there and back they could have pink n yellow dots for me ! |

CAA finally coughed up the second, & largest, portion of my flight refunds for last Sept/Oct. Kiss flights, spit !! Feel so good, even though I still have 20+ tax returns to finish, I may have to book a March trip.... Well soon as I know the big ferry schedule.  |

Good news for all you folks. My claim against Wasyjet from last September is rumbling on but I think they have got the message that I won't go away and they know that two media investigators are awaiting my "go ahead" to tackle them publicly.
They have now sent all my taverna receipts off to a seperate department for translation if you please. Easy will henceforward know all my fav. Greek dishes ;D
