Due to Thomas Cook pulling out of Halki, Nikitas studio and apartments will be let independantly next year, I know a lot of you on this board have stayed there and enjoyed this superior accomodation. There will be a website coming fairly soon which I will add a link to but for now anyone wishing to book for 2011 please email carolineroot@rho.forthnet.grFor those who may be first timers and do not know this property, it is set quite high in the village but therefore has spectacular views out to sea, the accomodation comprises of four apartments and one ground floor studio. Early booking is recommended as this property is extremely popularwith many clients returning year after year.

We stayed there 4 years ago, very nice tourist accommodation with lovely views .The downside is the position, very high up and when you have walked up to the entrance you are faced with many more steps to access the apartments. Not for anybody with walking difficulties, but OK if you are fit. We booked with DG and where not told how high up they are and my husband has a slight heart condition , which meant we had to stop several times on the way up However we love Halki and have made many friends on the island and have visited many times since. Hi Wendy, welcome to the board ;D Nikitas is as you say on the top road and there are steps up to the two top levels of accomodation which makes it unsuitable for people with walking difficulties, however there is now a ground floor studio added a couple of years ago which is of the same high standard as the rest of the property ;D

Fabulous accommadation of the highest standard and very large for studios have stayed there twice in recent years.
Immaculate in every way and just love the little balcony at the rear which catches those last evening rays
Yes there are a lot of steps but if you shop little and often or ask for heavy items to be delivered (Marradona will oblige) sorry know thats not his name really but we have always called him that ;D and make several stops on the way up the steps Nikitas is well worth the effort
The views from the studios are truly amongst the best on the island ;D

Really glad that Nikitas are available to rent independently. We've stayed there a couple of times and agree with Daisy - fantastic accommodation, spotlessly clean with fabulous views. OK, you are a bit knackered when you get through the front door (we stayed in the top ones both times) but the views are well worth it and it does wonders for your bum and thighs
