Jet2 will be running a Rhodes flight from East Midlands as from May 2011.
It leaves at 07.30 on a Wednesday and returns from Rhodes at 14.50.
It runs from early May to early October.

That's interesting Amanda. Worth considering as it's close to my Gran's. Will Jet2 still be in business a year down the line though?  |

Not early enough, we plan on going for Easter which is late next year, E Sunday is 24 April. I am sure I went with DG or Laska in past easters but nowadays the main charter people don't seem to start till May plus they end earlier.  I had my 50th do in Vanios one Ochi day a while back & that was with DG. Ah well at least Athens airport does good food so don't mind the trip too much.  |

Yes, in the "old" days DG used to go in time for Easter, I have just laid my hand on a brochure from 2003 and the first flight was 17th April and my goodness what a lot of properties they had then, times change and this instance not for the better  |

I agree. If they'd just stretch the season a bit either way ....
It's OK for our early trip (May/June) but we can't use them coming back in October. I think the flight finishes at the end of September.
