And at least in Halki you have swimming pool steps all round the harbour to help you get in and out easily  |

There is one house with a pool actually ... right round at the 'sunny' side of the harbour - can;t remember what it's called though and we have never seen any water in the pool!

That house is known on the island as the Italian House. It was owned by the head of Spar Italy but he died a couple of years ago and it was left to a neice or something (he was not married). I believe Lefteris (the ex-mayor) takes care of it. What a shame it is hardly ever used.
