Accommodation on Halki does not seem to have been extended this year despite the reduction by TC. Does anyone know who is taking up the "SPARE" properties dropped by TC or can they be booked direct by the owners.

I think Zifos has alot of them and a few are independant

pda has mentioned this site under a different subject so thought it might help if it was added in here www.halki.gr/halki-uk.html this gives accommodation and some information about the island, some of the properties are already under this heading but some are not and hopefully it may be of some use. If anyone here or in Greece wishes to put property details on here please do so, a lot of regulars will have already booked for this year but there will be people looking to come for the first time and the more choice the better, Thanks ;D |

Seems like Zifos is a good bet for a lot of the ex TC accommodation - we've booked up Nitsa at the beginning of July, They also have Avra as well this year. Try www.zifostravel.gr/zifos.html although it's not up to date. Best thing is to email Jane Chapman at zifos-travel@rho.forthnet.gr - apparently they are about to set up a PayPal account to avoid international bank transfers. Also good for sorting out transfer from the airport. |
