Thought I'd start a new thread ..but just out of interest what is the transfer to Symi like ..how long and how etc ??

Rhodes Airport - Rhodes Harbour - Symi. All quite simple, but depends on time of day. If you are on a late flight, you catch 1st ferry/hydrofoil out the next morning. In peak, when there is quite a few services I can be a doddle, in winter, I've heard it can be a nightmare.

so say your flight landed at Rhodes at 3pm local time ....how long is it to the port and then the crossing??

about 20 mins from airport to harbour. Crossing time depends on boat. Anything from 50 minutes to 2 hours. Last crossing in peak is about 6/7 I think. Anes is the main carrier.
