I've started another thread for guest postings -I've removed the last few posts of the other thread and locked it ( have left it as there is some good information on there )
Please before you post read back what you have written before you press the 'post' button ..Inflammatory posts are not allowed from either guests or members .
We are here to help with information if we can but we can and do like to have a chat and a laugh with it as well ..so please don't start posts with critiscm about the banter ......it won't change .

Liz, this was the point I tried to make in "Give Peace a chance". To you all, remember there is a thin line between "Banter" and "Insult". Please do not assume that criticism is necessarily inflammatory, or that your good-natured ribbing is going to be taken the way you intended. The English language is a wonderful thing used with skill. Above all remember the parable of the tuna!

Thankyou Simon ..I do know what you mean ..but I do think people need to understand .. a) this website is what it is ...complaining will not change it b) whilst we try to step in time to the Island, we have no influence in what goes on there and probably most importantly .. c) for those who complain we don't paint a good picture of the visitors ...well sorry but we are the visitors ...well some of them and only a small minority at that . oh and d) with a small exception most of us only visit once a year so it is very hard for us to have people criticise what is a perfect place for alot of us ..I personally can never see the point of posting negative points on a forum that is set up by people who really love a place and then get umpty when challenged we do welcome visitors and their questions and constructive critisim as said before ..but we are what we are here and banter and chitter chatter is welcome ..some like it ..some don't ...read what you like and ignore what you don't ...horses for courses etc ........I'll stop now ;D ;D

Does anyone know the times of the "local" ferries leaving Halki for Rhodes (e.g. the Nikos...) during 2010.
