I've just emailed Zifos to see what they know, and also enquired what accommodation Nissia may have available.

Yes I have thanks Liz, that's where I saw Nissia mentioned. They look like they have a good selection of waterfront property several of which are just for 2 people, which is just what we are looking for.

The only thing Nissia have is the Polymnia studio.
Does anybody have any experience of this and it's outside bathroom?!!

Maria if you join the forum you can ask this question on the accomodation board etc and will probably get more replys I've nver satyed at the polymina ..but have stayed at one with an outside bathroom ..makes for some interesting night time dashes ;D

Yay, so excited, I've managed to book Villa Amalia independently, which is right next door to the DG Hiona, and looks really nice.
I think I'll have to register as I will probably need hand holding with flights, taxi, boat bookings.

Hurrah !! so glad you've joined us ;D The Amalia was being done up when we were at the Hiona a few years ago ..it looks gorgeous and is in such a fantastic position ...you lucky ,lucky thing ;D ;D

:)Can I say the Villa Adella is a beautifully restored property, and though not too near the harbour is excellent for the beach.
