Ours has to be Nicks at Ftenagia seeing as we spend every single lunchtime there, closely followed by Avra and Black Sea.

My favourite used to be Tartan Table Cloths but I am with Carol on this one and just love Nick's at Ftengia. Wish he opened in the evenings like he used to even if it was only at the wekkends. Think we will have to get a petition up.
After Nick's Thomas comes a close second and last year The Black Sea was excellent as well.
The little grill house is also great at lunchtimes if you are in the village the gyro's are superb.

Lunch time for us..it has to be Ftenagia. In the evenings it's Maria's and Valantis'... but we do like Avra, and Babis and Remezzo's !!! We love Maria's because we usually end up in the 'locals' corner being sent vast amounts of Retsina by Katerina's father. We can also put bets on what time Petros is going to stay ooen until! can't wait now.

Maria's / Valantis / Black Sea / Remezzo / Avra and the Omonia was always last. Had some pretty bad meals in there so not all together too sad it is no longer there Nicks Ftenaia and Nicks Pondamos on a par. 40 sleeps for us ;D Not coming quick enough however, especially given the unbelievable weather we have been having here in the West of Scotland. Monday 4th August was the last good day we had. Seriously. Not a day has gone by since that we haven't had torrential rain at some point.

We quite liked Omonia and Maria's and Remetzzo's does a wicked pizza. Which one is Valentis Grill? Is it the one opposite the bakery? Also what is the one next to where Omonia was (not Avra, the other side). We tried to have a meal in there one night but were totally ignored, despite trying to attract their attention, for about half an hour so walked out

Di - Spot on re Valentis, cracking little place a run by lovely folk (she expecting baby very soon). As regards the 'other one', is that what we've called 'Windmills' for some years ? Was drinks and now a grill/snack place ? Apols if geography shaky but we've never been in there to eat, only for a beer. As regards the rest, we tend to change our favourite evey visit it seems but try to give all them, including the beach tavernas, a equal slice of the action. Rod

We have eaten at all these places at some time or other, and have enjoyed all of them. But we haven't dined in the evening at Pondamos or Ftenagia.
They are all different and all very good. Remezzo has the pizza, Black Sea has those giant prawns wrapped in bacon, Omonia had chick pea patties, Maria has rabbit stew. The list goes on ...
33 sleeps to go ....
