I have subscribed to Greece Magazine for several years, but the last issue I received was that for March/April 2009. My subscription was renewed just before that.
I have now found out that the magazine has ceased publication and its publishers have gone into liquidation.
Has anyone else heard anything about this - or managed to get their money back??

I read something a couple of months ago about it stopping but have heard no details.

I have two UK magazines on subscription delivered to Rhodes. I recall reading a notice in a Norwich ("a fine city"!) newsagent saying that if you bought a subscription,, and the magazine ceased you lost your money, so 'twas better to use your local friendly newsagent. I thought, at the time, that this was scaremongering; maybe not? I have little choice if I want my magazines though.

I have now been in touch with the firm dealing with the liquidation - Wilson Field on 0114 2356780, contact Gemma Roberts. Unfortunately, as my payment was made by cheque it's unlikely that I will see my money again. If I'd paid by credit card I would be able to get it back. So the motto, as with holidays, is pay by credit card!!

Sorry to hear that David. Think we'll end up doing everything on credit card soon! Hope that you find a suitable replacement publication and if you do pass it on ;D

Greek-o-File, an annual publication, is good.
