I noticed you were back ( although I did read somewhere you were going for two months  ) How did you get on with your accommodation ? was it cancelled ? I presume you found an alternative ..we've been wondering how things went |

HI Liz. arrived back, i had every intension to holiday for 2 month's, unfortunately the villa we originally rented, was re-let to the conference company's for 90euros per night for the 2 weeks we were there.  . we managed to find a small place, this wasn't going to be adequate for the time away. so we put up with it for 10 days then we moved over to Rhodes, we had been told about the Marietta apart hotel. so we stopped there the last 4 days. what a brill place, highly recommended. so instead of booking 2 weeks on halki in sept 09, I've booked into the Marietta for the week and a week or in pethkos. |

Thats a shame Macca ..but on the upside you've discovered somewhere new ( I'm presuming you've not been there before ) I have a friend who goes to Pefkos every year at least twice and loves it  If you get the urge you could visit as a day tripper lol  ;D |
