Nooooooooo!! ( but you can tell us about that if you like lol ) Kathy ...when we started the board last year ..the only person I had met before was Daisy, now bearing in mind we'd only been going about two weeks before we flew to Halki ...Di gets on a plane heading for Rhodes and starts a conversation with the lady next to her ..where you going blah de blah .....Di says Halki and this lady says 'my friend goes to Halki ....Liz ' ...At this point Di and I had never met so the conversation must have sounded really strange lol ...Ooh I know Liz ( well sort of ) ....never met her .....talk to her on the internet ..introduces her to Carol at the airport ...when I met Carol that evening she was telling me the tale but couldn't remember the lady's name ...it turns out to be a lady I worked with when I was 16 and have known ever since ...we always seem to meet in the supermarket and chat about Greece ;D....just goes to show its a small world and be carefull who who sit with ;D |

When I worked on Halki, I met a really nice holidaymaker called Jan,we got on like a house on fire(she was also from Liverpool) We tried to find a common link but couldn't. After she got home, she called in to see her brother in work with her holiday photos which showed us together - the workmate who sat next to him also had a look at the photos...... and said "thats my sister!"
They had sat next to each other and been close friends for years!
I also was sitting at a restaurant table on Tilos on one of the weekly trips - next thing, I heard my name......a girl sitting at the next table was someone I had met as part of the group on a solo's holiday with to Tunisia a few years earlier!
