These are photos we took on Tilos in 2007 when we took a day trip on the Proteus:- Village of Livadia and main harbour Taverna in a small village in the hills called Megalo Horio – great views Narrow streets around the village of Megalo Horio Church at Megalo Horio Plaka Bay on the far side of Tilos Beachfront and tavernas in Livadia Our favorite, taverna with roof top bar and great views – a good place to wait for the return ferry

Like I said, looks good to me. I am sure the passage is the problem.

Lovely photo's Graeme (I noted the rare one of Carol & Co eating and drinking ). Thanks to everyone who's provided info. I know it's really sad but we're doing "research" now for August 2010 . Must admit Tilos looks really nice. We were considering Halki again, but I want somehere on the front so that if the day trippers arrive in hoards I don't have to be up with the lark to nab a sunbed. Unfortunately, everyone else wants somewhere on the front as well . Seen a couple of nice properties on Tilos, main problem will probably be trying to synchronise the flights with the ferry. Having said that, I've also been looking at Telendos again... and then again Koroni might be that brill this year that we end up going back there So many places and so little time ;D ;D

At last! Should have gone with the nonsense on the HV site. Ain't dibblin' for slip'ry dick! No, no, not again. I promised! Before I know it I will use the"p" word. The difference between kinygos and a madman is that kinygos is not mad! Before enlightenment; Chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.

Kinygos is a boat, and a nom de guerre. Do you recognise the mis-quotation? Why does d i c k come out as "thingy"? What is the "Sound of One Hand Clapping"?
