We found jet2 to be the best deal when we booked, the Leeds flight was a bit cheaper than Manchester, so we are extending our break & staying overnight in Leeds both ways. When I have looked since, its sometimes been cheaper from Manchester! Ironically, I considered booking the more expensive TC - I thought they might be more reliable / less likely to go bust ;D

East jet 170.00 pounds return. Jet 2 180..00 pounds return ,Thomson 210.00 pounds return , all direct to Rhodes, you just have to plan and book early as we have done

East Jet I thought you meant Easyjet at first, but they don't fly to Rhodes from Manchester more's the pity. I don't think Jet 2 do either. Looked on the web last night and yes, there are flights with Thomson and other no frills carriers, but many don't take off until evening, meaning you land in Rhodes at about 2.30am. Also most people tend to book their flight at the same time as they book the accommodation, which for Halki is often 10 - 12 months in advance.

Independant and proud!
Flying out of Gatwick July 1st @ 07:40 and TC had better not mess me about. You wont like me when I'm angry!
If anyone else is on this flight, keep in touch on here if you here any problems.

Papas, you may be lucky but I wouldn't bank on it. TC juggle people around regardless of their destination. Luckily Jane C is still on the island and sometimes has info which TC dont seem to have. For example Halki is an island and not Halkidiki, and you need a ferry to get to Halki. Bless them its time someone had some serious training at TC head office. Cne we form a gang!!!
Better still sounds like you know "Luigi and the Boys" they could probably help.

Forget a gang,
Try a Mafia! Maybe a couple of severed Horses Heads in the beds of the TC Company Directors might have an influence?

Surely even they would understand that it is purely for their own good and a necessary training tool! How else will they learn?
Company Directors can and must be disciplined!
That is not cruelty! It's just tough love! lol

We're off - flight 12.50 tomorrow, spend the night in a hotel in Rhodes and then off to Halki the following day. We have been offered £39.00 compensation for the inconvenience (thats a total of £39.00) we'll argue about that when we get back. Returning on 1st July
Two weeks to recover from the TC ****- ups.
