Just to warn anyone who might be thinking of going to Halki in June and used to just turning up and finding somewhere to stay:
Apparently there is a two-day conference of dermatologists June 11th/12th and accommodation is extremely difficult. So anyone thinking of going independently, be warned! You will not be able to get accommodation if you turn up without a booking.
There's another conference later in the month (17th to 20th) but with a smaller number of delegates, although a lot of accommodation is block-booked for this one too.

I would think that they're in the new conference area of the hotel but I couldn't say for sure.  |
