Finally figured out what I am doing wrong and have succeeded in posting a horse on the Kornaros site. Possibly a connection ;D I will post other pics in the proper place. Sorry.

Absolutely.
My wife Penny was reading on the terrace of Villa Plousa and watching the Lane Lines ferry enter the bay. She called me to say that she thought the captain had his approach all wrong. As this is one of the most exciting events on our stays on Halki as far as she is concerned she knows the approach better than anybody (and clearly better than that particular captain!) We watched in amazement as the ship got closer and closer to the far side of the bay and then it happened. He just got stuck!
I had a very cheap video camera attached to my Archos MP3 player and managed to film the events as they unfolded. What excitement.
After much hard work the ship managed to dislodge itself but was clearly damaged.
We made our way down to Remezzo's and watched as the frogmen arrived to check the hull for damage. As I recall the town was full of puzzled passengers and all the tavernas seemed to be doing a brisk trade.
What an evening ..... nearly as good as the night that Greece won Euro 2004!
