H: Over the years we have travelled with Laskarina, Direct Greece and, in recent years, Nissia (Hi Lynn & Peter!!!). Before that I used to travel to Greece (Symi mostly) with Small World and 12 Islands.
I am Glad you enjoyed my second book. You will be pleased to know that some of my research reading behind the book took place on the terrace of Villa Plousa and on Pondomos Beach!!!
Oh, and did you catch the "plug" for Pedi Beach on Symi in the introduction?
Kathy: I could think of no other place on Earth that I would wish to "tie the knot". We had a wonderful event in the Town Hall then down to Remezzo's for our "Reception". Taki & Maria were both wonderful organisers of the event itself and George and Anna even managed to get us strawberries!!!

Thank you Ferryman, I cannot take any credit for setting this up, I would not know where to begin, it is all down to Liz, all I do is participate and keep an eye on things, however, it is lovely to hear that you and others are enjoying the board, and we certainly enjoy all the feedback that we get ;D ;D

lets not get into a footy string, The Toon seem to be Doon!! Not seen books ferryman , led a sheltered life but have been to Patmos Symi and Tilos before finding Halki

Penny will kill me for this! She is of the opinion that Halki is the one place that I am just "Tony Peake" rather than "Anthony Peake" the obscure writer, and I do agree with her on this issue (and most other things, of course!) If you wish further details I suggest that you check out my website at www.anthonypeake.com or, if you are quick, pop down to your local newsagent (W H Smiths for example) and pick up a copy of the latest edition of Fortean Times where my second book has been reviewed. There are also some interesting reader-comments on the USA, Canadian and UK Amazon sites. If anybody does wish to discuss any issues to do with my writing please do so through my FORUM - www.anthonypeake.com/forum - rather than here, which is a place to discuss our favourite island not my (possibly) boring books! And at the moment we are counting the days to when we will be sunning ourselves on the terrace of Villa Polymnia and planning which taverna to eat in that evening. Oh, it's a hard life! |

Yes, the time to wait does not seem as long now ..... every day is a day closer!
We cannot wait for that first morning and the Nissia (ex Laskarina) "Welcome Party" in Costas. Now that is an institution and for us the real start of the holiday.

Wonderful place to get married - I was married there in 2000 but, sadly, divorce nearly through now! Never mind - it won't stop me coming back and seeing old friends, will be there on 17th May...yay!!!
