Hi Just wondered how much people tend to tip.Are you thinking of cutting back because of the rate on the euro? ???Also,do you tend to tip for drinks or just when out for meals. If tipping for drinks,do you wait until the end of the night or tip every drink or two? :-/Cheers!

At least 10% for all meals and round up the bill for drinks or if you are in a large group 3/4 Euro tip as is most places in Europe

Hi Sunfun. We tend to leave about 10% for meals (as Harry said), if it's a particularly nice meal or (particularly) if we've been given something for nothing I tend to leave a bit more. I know it defeats the object, but I've always done it . With drinks, we also tend to leave 10% of what the bill is at the end of the night. At the end of the day, it's entirely up to you - Enjoy

We normally 'empty our pockets'...... not any set amount, but just to 'keep the change' down to normal levels.
