We are looking at Airflights.co.uk and Thomsonfly.com at the moment for next year, that will be from Birmingham as there is nothing again from Cardiff or Bristol. Watch the luggage allowances though, most onlt seem to give 15kg and charge extra for the other 5kg

We used Travel Republic - got a choice of charters out of Manchester and picked the time we liked the best. All done on-line and all worked fine.

We've used Travel Republic several time and have been very pleased. This time we used Flydeals and they have been fine though we actually fly with Thomsonfly. John booked it about 9 months ago though fogor to book the meal. Just booked seats and meals so all sorted now. ;D

We usually check available flights from Airflights and flightline for different aiports and companies, then book through actual company like Thomsonfly or XL when we find a suitable time & price, haven't found a great difference in pricing to be honest and are more comfortable with dealing with carrier direct.

Hi Macca,We booked a few months ago with jet2, they were by far the cheapest for us in August. Were going via Leeds instead of Manchester, because it was the better deal when we booked - but last time I checked it was the same price! A flight from Liverpool would be wonderful though! ;D Have you used jet2 before? Anyones Jet 2 experiences would be welcome!

Did Jet2 from Leeds 2 years back, last year flights were at the wrong time ! Leeds Bdfd is a lot better than the bigger airports, much less stress getting through. The flights were pretty good and I could fit my legs into the seats without any problem. Going again from Leeds with Jet2 in June but still prefer to travel with Aegean from Stansted. That will be the Oct flights hopefully. Even with the Athens change it just seems more fun to get the safety instructions on the plane in Greek. Puts you into holiday mode immediately. The foods better too.

Thanks, pda, im glad to hear Leeds is good to travel from, we havent used that airport before.I hope the foods okay though, we went mad and booked the extras which include the flight meal and private lounge etc, so I was rather hoping the food would be good! Were travelling over to Leeds the day before flying and staying at an airport hotel so its not a really vile early start to the day, I think the flights about 9am. Im just keeping my fingers crossed they don't go bust between now and then!
