I'm not sure whether this question will get read, as the HalkiVisiting site seems little used nowadays, but let's see! Does anybody have any up-to-date information about the villas which in Laskarina days were called Maritina and Alexandros? (I'm looking at Laskarina's 2001 brochure, which I know dates me!). I realise I'm late thinking about a visit this year, but hoping to track down current agents or other means of owner contact for those properties. Have also stayed in the past at what was named the Margarita, down some steps from the path near the police station, but after an ownership change some years ago I don't think that is available for holiday rent. (Looking at places suitable for 2 people, preferably on or near sea front.)
Regards to all.

My first thought is that nissia may have taken over the properties. I generally find my accommodation through booking.com but more and more people are putting their property through air BnB.

Not listed by Nissia, nor any names shown on the latest version of Google Earth Pro, which is very much up to date as it shows the 5 buildings on the north side of the Boulevard on the western edge of 'town' as having all their roofs on. They were in pretty poor condition and in desperate need of refurbishment, including but not exclusively, drainage and electrics, which the owner declined to do, hence why they got dropped 5 or 6 years back.

I've no idea re any of them .. depending on when you want to go there is probably still a lot to go at .. your best bet is probably airbnb or booking.com and then see if you can track down the owner and book direct ( although we have had some bargains in the past on booking.com )

Thanks Ketut/Steve/Liz for the various bits of information & suggestions. We are still not sure about possible plans, but all info is useful. It's also good to know that the Halkivisiting proboard is still functioning!
