Hi, I’m new to the forum so would be grateful for advice. I’m thinking of a first time solo trip to Halki early July with Olympic - how easy is it to meet other solo travellers - in fact, are there any others thinking of visiting first couple of weeks in July?? 👍! I’ve been to a lot of Greek islands, solo and in a couple, most recently to Symi, but Halki has been on my list for a while. I guess it’s a friendly and safe island for female solo travellers but if there are other solos who have been, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Kaymcee, like Sth I was waiting for a more relevant response to your post, but not so many people use this forum now Facebook is around. however, until you get further response, although we travel as a couple we have met many single people travelling to Halki we now count as friends and I can say you will have no problems staying here as a single female traveller. This is a very safe destination and you will have no problems meeting and chatting to people singles or couples. You will also receive a warm welcome from the locals on Halki who take great pride in looking after all visitors to their island. Come and enjoy.

Hi I'm here now .. there are a few regular solo travellers some do it independently and some with Olympic .. its a safe island and I wouldn't hesitate to come here on my own ...
