This little grill bar to the right of Dimitri' s bakery is well worthy of a mention, the menu is extensive and the food of very good quality. A lunchtime snack of two pitta chicken souvalki with tzaziki, tomato, onions and chips filling, plus a bottle of Retsina €8.50. Often you given a complimentary treat such as cherries in yoghurt. Definitely one for Soupdragon to road test.Highly recommended.

Unfortunately our next visit will not be until 2019. It would have been next year but a "surprise" family holiday was sprung upon us as a combined 60th birthday present (both 60 around Xmas/Jan). It was nearly going to be 2020 as we had talked of doing a cruise and stay around the Greek Islands. We've never done one and it's been something we've fancied doing for a good few years. I did mention to Rose that we could just get the ferry back and to from Rhodes every day but that suggestion fell on deaf ears As soon as we'd decided to bring forward our next Halki visit we both had massive grins on our faces...... Cheers. Tom and Rose

Really great little grill. The salads are good too and the owners/staff are really nice. Beware the wine though - half litre of red in May this year was 8 euros and it was not good. I didn't look at the menu before because wine in halki restaurants is usually the same. I was shocked when the bill came and when we checked the prices against the menu card it was the wine that was expensive.

Also I think the name is Kifi. Thanks for that timely correction, much appreciated, you may like to know that there is a little sticky note on the menu now showing the price of 6€ for half a litre of white or red wine.

Just back from beautiful Halki and wanted to recommend Kifi Grill House but they are not on TripAdvisor. Valenti's has taken mixed grill off his menu but we noticed Kifi did a mixed grill which lead us to eat here three nights of our stay as we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much. The mixed grill was great as was their gyros plate which included the pork meat tomatoes onions tzatziki chips and hot pitta - a steal at must 7 euros and more than enough for two people. It very much reminded us of valentis grill of years ago before they expanded their menu. This family are so kind and welcoming and deserve to succeed so please give them a try.

Just back from Halki. We went straight to this taverna for our first dinner and was disappointed to find the previous owners had returned to Rhodes. The new people are using the same menu and name but the food is different now.

Understand Valentis grill house now closed for the season. Bit early but they will have their reasons.

Sth, are you there now. Valentis is our favourite restaurant and we will be sorry not to see Valentis and Eleni when we arrive next week. Just wondering how busy the island is and what is still open.

Thanks Liz, we arrive with Olympic on Thursday, straight from the airport to the 18.15 ferry, which is great no overnight in Rhodes. First time visit in September and first time in villa Agra.
