It's been a mixed year for us, more negative than positive and quite frankly we are both glad to see the back of 2008. The year started off terrible with the news that my brother who had cancer received the news that there was nothing more to be done for his condition. February was my birthday and we went over to Gothenberg for a few days, a truly lovely place, but save up beforehand, I also bought myself a new toy - a Lotus Exige (as I enjoy trackdays soooooo much). April was dreadful as on the same day as our wedding anniversay I lost my brother to cancer.  May we booked Halki.................. ;D 'BIG' cracks started to appear in our new conservatory wall.........  June saw us buy some nice outdoor furniture just as the winter weather arrived - so we sat inside looking at the furniture.  September was Janes birthday and saw us in Halki and meeting up with old friends and finding a new Nissia villa to enjoy the harbour from. ;D A health worry had me concerned in October and in November we lost our dear little cat of 14 years. In November we found a home for a new cat. A quiet christmas followed and will hopefully be followed by a very happy and joyful new year as we attend a friends wedding new years eve. Big thanks to everyone who set up the new board and my new years resolution is not to swear (too much) on here. I did'nt do too bad for this year actually (and not even been banned). Must admit 2008 hasn't been a good year for us for one reason or another - we seem to lurch from one crisis to another So here's hoping 2009 is better for everyone ;D ( Glad to hear you've got another puss FC  ) |

Hells teeth Mr Fatcat .... just googled Lotus Exige  ... certainly beats me Yaris we'll have to change your name to flashcat . Hope you totally enjoy it. I remember one of our lawyers buying a metallic blue TVR (just before he retired ;D). He was about 6' 6'' and it was amazing watching him getting in and out of it. 2009 is all change for me. No more views of the "big boats" from my window in work  as I'm going to work for the HSE (although apparently you can still see the river from the canteen on the 4th floor  ) ...watch out Greece... mending a light switch by whacking it with a hammer (or whatever else is to hand) will no longer be tolerated Happy 2009 everyone ;D |

We have also had a mixed year and personally I wont be sorry to see the back of it. The good side was definitely this years Halki holiday which was definitely the best yet, we caught up with old friends and made some new ones, you all know who you are and a big thanks, it was memorable. Now the new year is almost here we can start counting down, but not sleeps yet please !!!
Fatcat ( Flashcat !!! ) I am so pleased you got a new cat, ours have bought us much joy as I am sure yours has ;D
