In the 14 years since we stayed there, the road that ran along the back of the beach has been replaced with a new one that runs behind the first row of properties. It rejoins the old road about half way along the developed part of the bay. After the immediate rush of people coming off the Dodec Express and being collected by the hotels etc, there was very little traffic. I will generally wait for a gap in traffic for many of my city shots but don't recall having to wait or get out of the road to let a vehicle pass at any time in Livadia.
The old core of the village hasn't changed much but there has been a lot of building along the back of the beach, not all of which has been very successful with quite a few empty properties. The 'night club' at the end of the beach was as it was in 2002.
