I read somewhere that Nikos Express is doing a 4.30pm Tilos run on Wednesdays and Sundays from Kamiros Skala via Halki - does anyone have any info on that??

Hi Rusty, I can't find anything about this, the Nikos Express timetable for this week says it leaves Kamiros Scala at 4pm on Wednesday for Halki and Sunday it leaves Kamiros Scala at 09.15am. Nikos Express is on Facebook so you could contact them on there or phone +306946826905

Didn't they do this a few years ago? That would be when the highly sophisticated cat/fixed wall hovercraft failed. In fact that could have been back around 2009! I seem to recall going to Tilos and the Nickers turning up. So not "a few years ago" really, more like "ages ago"!
Could be that is the information mentioned?
Certainly this is not current information to the best of my knowledge.
Subsequently I believe the Fedon did the trip.
As for now, I have no information.

On the Tilos Info site they say this:- New ferry Rhodes-Tilos-Rhodes on Wednesday & Sunday / A new ferry connection from Kamiros Skala (Rhodes) to Tilos is proposed from 29/05/16. The ferry 'Nikos Express' will run from Kamiros Skala / (NOT Rhodes town) to Livadia, Tilos. / This service will run on Wednesday and Sunday afternoon from Rhodes and from Tilos to Rhodes on Wednesday and Sunday morning. Times are not yet available.
Contact on the island is saying they are only doing the Sunday so far

See no sign of this on Halki and it is not currently mentioned on the Nikos Express Facebook schedule.

Rusty, I seem to remember that I read that it changed before the season started. Seth is on Halki now so his information is first hand.

Apologies for late info-we've just returned from a combined Halki/Tilos Holiday. We noticed The Nikos Ex in Livadhia harbour on a Sunday. We were told that it had a contract to transfer Scandinavian Package people to Tilos. The Dodekanissos Express and the Blue Star Paros do the routine runs to Tilos but the timings are not ideal for everybody!!

I find the easiest way to track what the ferries are doing is to check on Facebook. All three of them post their schedule on there, usually once a week.
