Taxi

Hi. A friend is thinking if staying at one of the villas on Ftengia beach in May, Is there a taxi service at night, or anyone that would provide transport? Many thanks

There is s taxi but he never seems to be around at night .. When we stayed over there I used the taxi to take some shopping home .. I only did it once he charged me an arm and a leg ! So if your friend needs a taxi at night it's probably not reliable or economical

The street lighting is good enough to walk back to Ftengia so long as you stick to the formal paths/streets and avoid the temptation to cut the corner off over the scrubby ground behind the police station. OK in day light but risky after a few retsinas at night.
