The Cost of Euro

Well it's 0748 Friday morning. I've been in work for 20 minutes. (Sad person, I'm always in early) and my thing I do every day is check the Euro and USDollar exchange rates. It's been hard watching it steadily fall the past few months but this is absolutely the lowest that I have ever seen it.

Today............the Euro - GBP rate is.............1.1480.




If we carry on like this it will soon be £1 = 1EURO. Halki will still look tempting but we will definitely feel the pain in our pockets.

That's scarey Lynn. In fact I don't want to think about it just now. I think I'll go and make some more mince pies.

I hope that it was the WW recipe for mince pies!

It is sad that Halki will be geting more expensive for us - may only be one trip a year from now on!
