Released today, our June 16 ones booked at what I thought to be a good price.

Thanks for the heads up JTB - due to go out last Wed of June but can't book yet as it won't let you put in the return date which is in July.....

Steve, I've had this before even with an earlier June flight and always bag the outgoing flight asap then follow through with the return flight on release - that will be early Oct.

I've also done this - bag a reasonable outgoing flight. Unfortunately when you later try to buy a single from Rhodes/UK, the fares are far from reasonable. Reason - they have you over a barrel and they know it. One of the reasons they operate this phased release.

Will wait 'til next month. Got well & truly done by Easyjet last time - jumped in immediately after the release e-mail to bag our flights to find that a few hours later the price had dropped quite a lot. Finding how to complain about this was hard but was partially successful in that I got a voucher against next purchase. Supposed to be valid for 6 months only but says 1 year, so might be able to use it next month.
I got the release e-mail about 40 mins after my original post.....

This is the first year I have been able to get the June week there and back at the same booking. I'm aware of the Rhodes Return Hike Tactic, but succumb to it in order to book a specific seat area for my travelling needs. I'd heard via others on the board about watching the fluctuating price and thus more savvy to that nowadays. Anyway, now counting down to the next visitation.
