Well I am sitting here looking at Jane and Tony's great photograph of my daughter Helena on the Photo Board, and feeling absolutely terrible. Totally loaded up with the flu. I have had a really busy week at work. Drove all the way up to Huntly in Speyside, to the Glendronach Distillery, loaded with the flu, 8 and a half hour drive for a one hour meeting! Scotland's bigger than you think. Tried a couple of toddies with some 12y/o Glendronach - it didn't work. Nice whisky though.

Hi Guys. The flu is just awful, I had it on my 21st birthday so consequently never did find the key to the door. Do hope that you are better soon. Lots of horrible virally things going around in South Devon.

I should have never mentioned illnesses. I have viral labrinthitis which at least explains why I passed out a while ago. i am supposed to be taking medication and avoiding alcohol for the next 4 weeks!!!!  |

Poor you Lisa, and with Christmas and that big birthday coming up as well, hope you soon feel better ;D I havent got the flu but have got a horrid streaming cold, just what you dont want at this time of year.

Carol, could we not have a moratorium on members who have colds and flu from posting?  This way we could stop the spread of the dreaded lurgies spreading throughout the members?  |

Think that my virus protection needs a top up or reboot! Thankfully the medication worked and I am managing to cut it down therefore partaking in a few drinkies!  |

Lisa .I had that a few years back and I hate to say it but it came back about three times before I managed to shift it ...its horrible ...I felt like I was losing my mind ( moreso than normal ) |

Correction, I now have quite a cold, not really the flu but well under the weather. Tis a pity as we are off to a wedding on New Years Eve  |
