Anyone travelling to Halki early season and planning to stop over in Rhodes, please be aware of the following news from the website Ekathimerini re the sudden government-imposed shut down of 36 hotels in Rhodes pending new fire certificates. I wonder what the status of the Halki hotel is?
It does not have a good track record of even complying with its own advertising. I hope it is OK. Does anybody know?
If it is not it could be even more of a problem to the Halkiholics.
I can assure my clientele that the "Hotel Pastida" is still operational so you will be able to sleep amongst the fishing tackle and chandlery, and the stretched limo will be available as usual!
