I've finally got round to publishing my selection of images from early July. Some images will appear similar as I shot both digital and slide (Velvia 50)this time. There are 3 albums this year Halki July 14Halki 14 - Beyond ImborioHalki 14 - Hidden HalkiFirst album concentrates on the main village area, the water front etc and includes a few shots from the visiting theatre, my usual set of early light around the water front and the full moon rising. The latter subset were mainly shot whilst sat a Remezzo's and are a bit different - even if I say so myself. Second Album includes the beaches and all in between, sun rise over Alimnia from the saddle to the east of the main bay and some shots of the desalination plant. I, for one, thought this was a wind up when it was first mentioned. Final album is back street Halki, mainly the north side, where the day tripper rarely strays into which is why I use the tag 'Hidden'. I did a similar album in 2012 but that concentrated mainly on the eastern western side. I hope these bring back some happy memories, especially now that January weather has arrived with avengeance here in the UK. Roll on 1st July for our next hit. [edit 16/01/15 - corrected mixing east and west side of the bay )

Glad you enjoyed them JTB. Fanatic place for photography, especially the first 30-40 minutes after sun rise. I've taken not far short of 4000 images over the last 9 years and still find it enthralling.
