I don't think too many of you would want to be on Halki right now: heavy snow across virtually all of Greece and in this part of the Dodecanese very very strong winds of around Force 7 to Force 8, bringing the temperature of 6c down to around -15c with the wind chill factor!! Northern Greece, according to our vet who has just returned from "home" for Christmas and New Year, was around -14c and thick snow (which he loved!). Lots of rain over the past week, with hail, snow, strong winds. Very very unpleasant and the coldest January so far in the 8 years we've lived here.

:(Cold weather back with a vengeance in Greece!! Extremely strong winds for the last couple of days (Force 9 or more in some parts of Greece), constant heavy rain and the return of snow this morning. Temperature was around 6c at 11 a.m., definitely the worst winter for a number of years.
