:)A report on the hotel on Halki Island. We stayed there a short time ago and I am pleased to report it was excellent: clean, bright, airy rooms with air-con. Met at the ferry and luggage taken (each way), good breakfast (I believe you could also order "extras" at breakfast-time) a chef there for lunch and evening dinners, very professional lady on reception too. With the quiet position and beautiful views it comes highly recommended. Just hope that next year the powers that be can have this lovely place up and running (with the same staff hopefully) - it could be such an asset to the Island.

Thanks for the report, Londonlass. Requests for information about the hotel arise fairly regularly and it's useful to have an up-to-date report. As you suggest, the hotel does seem to be an under-used asset. As its trade is essentially seasonal, it must be difficult to get the same staff each season.
