Join the dodecanese ferry bonusway program online & save 10% on the tickets. If there's 2 of you each person has to join. Went to Tilos for a couple of days 2 years ago & loved it. We are planning a longer stay when we get round to it.  Did the same at Nissyros in the same year but, apart from the volcano trip which is fabulous, we hated the place. It just caters for trippers to the volcano. You can just about manage the trip on a one day excursion from Halki. This years trip is planned for Kasos on the big ferry. Anyone been ?? |

Hi PDA, thanks for the info re the Dodecanese bonusway programme. We've only had to use them a couple of times as we usually try to get the Sea Star. It goes from Mandraki on a wednesday evening (when it's running) so if you can get a early flight, and your flight's on time, you can get there in one day.
We did a day trip to Nissyros from Kos, loved the trip to the volcano but agree with you regarding staying there. We reckon it would be pretty empty and a bit forlorn once the trippers leave.
