Easyjet for us after next year definitely, plus they allow you to be flexible with your dates, no more Thomas Cook ever

Carol it sounds like someone who works at travel republic has dropped a clanger when booking your flight , realised the mistake and so moved you .. I'd continue this with TR as it's them you have the contract with not the individual airline have you contacted abta etc it's not just a time change but a airline change as well .. I'd fight on a bit more with TR

The hidden danger with these bookings often comes with a little box that you have to click stating that you agree with the "terms and conditions". (Virtually) Nobody reads these and you find that you have no rights at all because you ticked a box; a box that must be ticked to complete the transaction! I recall something that was, I think, an April Fool joke where the terms and conditions included signing over your immortal soul. Those that spotted it got some sort of prize. No prizes for you I'm afraid Carol. Caveat emptor. PS. No I don't read them either!

We too have reluctantly abandoned the convenience of an early morning flight from Manchester, which now is only available for a ridiculous price, for Easyjet from Gatwick. Interesting to note that they are now cleaning up on the likes of Thomas Cook and Thomson with extra flights to Rhodes. Now booked for an early flight there and back starting late July 2014 for what is now a very reasonable price with pre-booked extra legroom seats !
